Power Plate Training

The Power Plate is one of the latest fitness craze to target virtually any individual who exercises. The first Power Plate was introduced in 2000 based on the research Russian cosmonauts used in an attempt to prevent bone loss and muscle atrophohy while in space. In it’s first year the Power Plate exceeded over 1000 units sold and now is a piece of equipment found in the most innovative training and rehab facilities nationwide.

The PP is a vibrating platform that enables the individual to contract his muscle fibers 50% MORE than typical resistance training. While the platform vibrates muscle fibers are firing and contracting in order to stabilize the individual and neurologically more nerves are recruited and more muscles are required to work thus releasing more HGH and allow an individual to burn more calories. This is great for those of us who compete and want to release as much HGH as possible. It is also extremely beneficial for those looking to lose body fat. Do to the amount of muscle fibers working you will burn more calories and increase cardio vascular output as well.

The PP is also used to help reduce cellulite by stimulating fat cells that are on the verge on dieing. It also is used for therapy and massage by simply having the individual place the desired body part on the platform and allowing the vibration to stimulate blood flow to the area while performing the desired stretch.

The research is amazing and this is not a fad piece of equipment that will fall into the depths of the thigh master and gazelle. From the New York Times to Arizona’ own ch.3, Muscle and Fitness to In Style Magazine the 'buzz' is this is an amazing piece of equipment and the benefits are endless.
