Watching my wife Melissa battle breast cancer not once, but twice, made my decision to bring awareness to this disease one of the most important things I could have ever done.
I’ve been able to do that with my annual Busting Butts to Save Breasts 5K Adventure Run/Walk and Bootcamp since 2011.
A charity event for all fitness levels that started out with 50 participants and has now grown to more than 250 people who all share in my vision of helping those with breast cancer.
While the number of people joining my cause continues to grow every year, so does the amount of money I raise.
The race proceeds are donated to a nonprofit organization which provide the best in experimental and traditional cancer treatments and expertly guiding the next generation of medical researchers. For more information please visit http://www.cancer.ucla.edu/
I want to empower survivors and those newly diagnosed with breast cancer. I want them to get the feeling of hope and that they’re not alone in their journey to beat this disease.
Our next race is October 28th, 2018 at my facility in Chandler, Arizona.
