Today’s #whattoeatwednesday is all about…spice!
Spices are a simple way to add variety, zing, heat, or sweet to your food without added calories.
Healthy food need not be bland!
Spices are also wonderful for metabolism, immunity, inflammation, anti-aging, digestion, fertility, and more!
Some wonderful spices to enhance sweet are allspice, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Favorite savory spices include turmeric, curry, parsley, cilantro, cumin, oregano, and my two favorite spice blends, Herbes de Provence and Za’atar (French and Middle Eastern, respectively).
