With pumpkin season officially in full swing, even the most fitness conscious folks can enjoy this seasonal sweet in a way that fuels a fit lifestyle.

Pumpkin is high in beta-carotene – a powerful antioxidant that gives pumpkin its rich orange color. It’s also rich in fiber, minerals, and vitamins and is low in calories and fat.

1/2 cup unsweetened pumpkin
1/3 cup cottage cheese
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
capful of vanilla
dash of pumpkin pie spice
pinch of Celtic or Himalayan salt
stevia to taste
Ice and water as needed (you’ll need less water than normal for this shake).
